Streamlining

Streamlining is provided by the basic arrow-head shape of the aircraft. Additional streamlining is provided by the tapering of the cockpit and fuselage sections, all the way to the back of the aircraft. Overall look of the DragonFly©® fits closely to the aircraft pictured above. A set of elliptical inlets may be positioned underneath the aircraft wings.

Tuckering the engines inside the body of the aircraft, alongside the tanks and cargo bay, adds to the overall streamlined design. Engines are not part of the first iteration of the BlackGoose©® design; thrust is instead provided by two solid rocket boosters. The whole assembly is put on top of an Antonov An-225. Cargo is still loaded from the top. Cheap and light rocket boosters are required.

The aft section houses the set of 4 linear aerospikes. The fuel tanks are tucked under the aft section and fuselage. The toroidal spikes are embedded in the wings, on either side of the set of fuel tanks.
